香港最受歡迎的男歌星之一　羅文在北美演唱獲好評

想用文字來描述國際著名歌星羅文的精彩表演，事實上是不太容易的。如果你未親身聽他演唱，那麼你根本不會相信他具有如此的魅力。他在擠滿聽眾的聖莫尼加市政廳的演唱，便是最好的事實證明：他的一舉一動，一曲一辭，是那麼的恰到好處，正如報紙及海報的廣告所說的一樣。

在九人大樂隊奏出的刺激、憾人和別緻的歡樂音樂旋律中，羅文連續表演了兩個半小時。他是個懾人心弦而又忠於演唱的著名歌星。在洛杉磯時，羅文是毫無疑問地盡其所能演唱，使當地聽眾留下了深刻的印象。

羅文這一次到北美演唱，行程共有五站，計有溫哥華、多倫多、紐約、舊金山及洛杉磯。他十五號來到洛杉磯，可說是北美之行的末站了。在洛杉磯的八天中，他共演唱五場，每一場他都盡力表演。縱然演唱場數多，而每一場的表演時間也長，但他卻絲毫不感乏勁，也不疲憊。相反的，他是那麼精神奕奕，充滿活力，如弓上弦。

羅文的特別演唱會是近幾年來最佳演唱會之一。羅文在整整兩個半小時中落力演出，他不停地唱著旋律美妙的歌曲，也跳著迷人的舞。他的服裝很引人入勝，時而縛著彩色繽紛的腰帶；時而穿著精緻的綢緞綺羅；時而穿戴上典型的，獨具一個的帽子及水兵衣；時而改穿古裝戲服，臨完場時，他還穿上金光閃閃的披肩演唱。全場的觀眾都被他精彩的表演吸引著，大家都聚精會神地欣賞著。

羅文唱的歌很多，其中有歐西流行曲、國語時代曲，他也唱些古裝粵曲，以及電視劇主題曲。羅文每當唱完一支歌，四周的聽眾便如雷鳴般鼓掌，不管暢玩什麼歌，情形都是一樣。羅文的一舉手、一投足、一高歌、一低唱，都具有無比的威力，都能把聽眾深深地吸引著。每見他一曲唱完，便有熱情的聽眾迅速遞上花環、手帕、汽水，對他表現出極大的敬意。

在演唱會中，羅文還特地向他喜歡的所有女孩子唱了一首情歌。當他唱這首歌時，舞台銀幕上緊隨著呈現出一大批熟悉而搶眼的面孔：其中有瑪麗蓮夢露、汪明荃、井莉、林青霞、林鳳嬌、張艾嘉等。毫無疑問，這批人是現時和昔日的娛樂圈中最美麗的女性。

通常一般演唱會在演唱過程中總會有高潮產生，然而聽羅文演唱，在兩個半小時的表演中，似乎分分鐘都有高潮出現。由於他的開放和坦誠，所以給會場帶來了和睦與鼓舞的氣氛。羅文更以一曲「好歌獻給你」，帶起了聽眾的共鳴，聽眾紛紛站立，拍著拍子和他一齊唱，時間長達十數分鐘之久。羅文感人心弦的感情藉「好歌獻給你」盡情流露出來，欣賞了兩個半小時爆炸性演出的洛杉磯聽眾也承認了這一點。毫無疑問，羅文就是羅文，他在歌壇上的地位是沒有人能夠動搖的，更何況也沒有人想動搖他。（洛杉磯通訊記者：鄺慧慈）

Roman Tam – you are a super singing star!

Words can hardly describe the super star performance exhibited by the internationally famous Roman Tam. Billed as an incredible singing star, Roman Tam proved to the packed audience at Santa Monica Civic Auditorium that he is indeed every bit as good as the newspapers and ads had claimed. Armed with a nine-piece band, Roman performed two and a half hours of exciting, exuberating, and fantastic music and entertainment. Always known to have been a thrilling and dedicated singer, Roman certainly did his best to impress this Los Angeles crowd.

This show on the 15^th of June was the last of the five shows in the North American tour that took in Vancouver, Toronto, New York, San Francisco, and finally Los Angeles. Even doing five strenuous shows in eight days, Roman Tam exhibited no signs of fatigue or lack of energy, but instead he was really, able, and full of vigor.

This particular concert by Roman Tam was one of the best concerts ever in the recent years. From the melodious singing to the beautiful dancing; from the fans to the colorful sashes; from the elaborate suits of silk and sequence to the typically Roman’s own particular style of caps and sailor suits; and finally from the old opera costumes to the grand finale of a cape of lights, Roman easily captured the undivided attention of the entire audience.

Singing English pop tunes and Mandarin hits, he even managed to include some Chinese operas and TV series theme songs. Whatever songs Roman sang, thunderous applause would follow. Roman had ability to captivate the audience with everything and every move that he made. Bouquets of flowers, handkerchieves, and soft drinks were immediately offered to Roman after every song.

A particularly special portion of the program was when he sang a song to all of the girls he “loves”. An array of familiar and gorgeous faces flashed unto a screen that was set up on the stage. From Marilyn Monroe to Liza Wong; from Ching Li to Lin Ching-hsia; and from Lin Fung-chiao to Sylvia Chang, these personalities are no doubt the most beautiful women in the entertainment world of today and yester-year.

While other concerts normally reach a climax, it seems like that during the two and half hours of Roman Tam’s concert that every single minute was an ultimate climax. His openness and frankness with the audience brought on a friendly and encouraging atmosphere. With the song “THE BEST SONG TO YOU”, Roman managed to draw the audience to a singing, clapping, and standing position for over ten minutes. From that song, his heart-felt emotions were expressed and after witnessing more than two hours of dynamic showmanship, the entire Los Angeles audience would also tend to agreed.
